Entry Level Technician


This position will be responsible for providing exceptional service to all business residential customers by troubleshooting and resolving Server and PC-related technical issues. This position will also be responsible for providing support for the company's Internet and Intranet sites, as wells as reporting, developing and preparing information products to be used by the organization. The main duty of the Entry Level Technician will be end-user support, including installation, troubleshooting, hardware break/fix, phone support, and account management.Some of the major responsibilities include:

  • Serve as help desk support by troubleshooting and resolving PC-related technical issues for business and residential customers

  • Provide support for company Internet and Intranet sites.

  • Responsible for reporting, developing and preparing information products to be used by the organization. Develop and maintain reports as requested.

  • Set up and maintain PC stations along with associated PC station Ids.

  • Document the network systems including location, access, configuration, utilization and capacity of PC station hubs, bridges, servers, etc.

  • Contact appropriate employees and/or external vendors to resolve any software, hardware and processing issues that arise.

  • Assist with network administration (creating new network accounts, email accounts, etc.).

  • Assist Соmрutеr Dероt Customers by evaluating their hardware and software capabilities to ensure minimum system downtime, plus assist with research, development and implementation of new hardware and software, as required, including performance and licensing requirement.

  • Provide backup support to Соmрutеr Dероt Customers as needed, plus serve as "on-call" support for computer operation problems.
